Dear dear Paul BURR
Do you remember a Charles Burton ,the fitness trainer who use to come to you home ?well i m here in Czech rep living with lovely wife and daughter in a small scenic village far away from the manic city life i once knew.I still dance and teach English, fitness and dance and the hunger remains.I m so so glad to see your name in print and to see you doing so so well.I want to thank you because your coaching took my life to another dimension and i live with my head high because of you.Thank you.If possible ,it ll be great to hear from you.Best regards Charles Burton

Charles my dear friend, how wonderful to hear from you. I’ve been googling your whereabouts off an on for ages. Tis lovely to reconnect.
Thank you for your very kind words.
You started me on and sold me completely the benefits of having a personal trainer. You knew how to get that extra few press ups in me and taught me that fitness starts in the mind.
I wish you were around right now.
Let me know when you’re next in uk!
Shine on…!

Hey Paul,
I have a feeling you must be the Paul Burr who is ex IBM/Accenture etc…? We went to see Niles Lofgren at some place in Kentish Town, ( he did a fantastic solo tour last year). I had forgotten he played with Neil young on Harvest, or was it After the Gold Rush? Neil’s been over a few times as well. Maybe you’ve seen him? We also saw The Georgia Satellites in Kentish Town. That was an amazing gig!
The other things I remember is your warmth, your super sized brain, and your CD collection, which no doubt is now stored on a Cray computer by now!
I am still recruiting, but not getting the buzz I had in the mid 80s.
Have a listen to The Shins…. an interesting band!
I hope you’re well,
Nigel
